This redesign project existed as an exercise in UX/UI design as a component of my MFA coursework. The goal was to redesign and improve a poor user experience. At the time of this project, the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) website was implemented as a flash solution, was not easily navigated, and split between a main informational site and a separate bus tracker site. My goal was to build a concept that consolidated the content into a friendly as easy to use format intended for an HTML5 implementation. While the design is meant to be enabled for mobile the next step in this project would be to visualize that format in a responsive solution.
